Problem: The battery runs out far to quickly. Does anyone else's have such poor battery life?

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: Generally speaking, the bigger the screen and the more functions in use (e.g. bluetooth, wifi, gps etc), the faster your battery will run down. Google "Typical Battery life" for your tablet and see what other people are getting. If you are getting much (more than about 40%) worse battery life and you have turned off all unnecessary applications, functions and services, your unit may have other issues and you should contact the manufacturer / your retailer to investigate further.
Number 1: Turn off unnecessary functions
Number 2: Turn the screen brightness down
Number 3: Get a battery saver app that will show you what's using your battery so much.

Problem: No sound coming from the speaker.

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: Check (1) the volume setting (may be different for different apps) and (2) check any speakers or earphones you are using by trying them out on a different device.

Problem: Horrible distortion coming from the speaker.

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: Turn the volume down - does that solve the problem? If you are getting distortion on all sounds, your speaker may be damaged. If you can play some sounds fine and others are distorted, it is probably not a speaker issue, rather a problem with the specific files or applications you are using. Try to turn the volume down within that application and see if that helps.

It can be any one of a number of reasons. For example, once a pin had got stuck in the speaker grille - it was magnetically attached! - and when I removed it, the distortion was gone! Check your speaker for contamination.

Problem: It keeps freezing, locking and rebooting, shutting itself down and restarting. It's so frustrating!

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: Check the app you're using at the time - certain apps take a lot of processing power. Now I'm not necessarily saying you don't have enough power to run the app (I don't know what app you're using or how many you're using at the same time!) but it's worth noting that many tablets reduce their processing power when the battery is low - have you noticed this?

Problem: I dropped it an cracked the screen. It still works, but now I have a huge scratch down the front.

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: Cracks and scratches are different things. Cracked screens are more serious and might need to be replaced, but scratches can occasionally be removed, depending on how deep they are. You might want to try a scratch remover (like 3M's) or gently rubbing with a piece of cardboard, but a better way to repair it is to get a film screen protector - it will prevent future scratches, is easy to apply and sometimes makes shallow scratches less visible.

Problem: Help! I have completely immersed my tablet in water, now it's not working? What can I do? Is the water damage permanent?

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: It's not necessarily broken. But - VERY IMPORTANT - don't press the buttons, plug it in, or try to turn it on in ANY WAY! You have to leave it to dry before passing an electrical current through it. Leave it for a few days without power. When you are sure that the water inside has evaporated (some people leave them in boxes of dried rice to absorb the water), you can try turning it on again. But DON'T USE IT FOR A WHILE YET! If you want to be safe, leave it in a dry place for a week. You can't use it today or tomorrow, it's too soon.

Problem: what type of sd card do I need

There are 0 comments on this problem.

Solution 1: You need a Transflash memory card I bought for a Motorola v635 years ago I still got phone and card ( being a bit of a hoarder ) its only 512mb. When they say the sd and Transflash are the same I'm still scratching my head on that one. Transflash is older than sd so maybe only class 1 sd cards work its not tried and tested yet. The both companies merged but it seems they only concentrated on sd cards..

- I have just managed to reset my DGM t-704s. I was trying different combinations for two hours and cannot be specific about the combination that worked....
For definite I can say it is a combination with the power key and volume +.

I think the following is what finally did it:
With the tablet on (in my case asking for a password that my daughter has forgotten!), press the volume up key and hold it down.
Whilst holding it down press and hold the off key.
Count to 30
let go
after a few seconds of a black screen the android comes up saying 'no command'. Press the volume up key to get a selection of options.
Factory reset is the 5th option, move to this with the volume down key, then press the power button to select. follow the on screen commands using those keys
Then once data wiped, select reboot.

I got up the android once playing with the volume and power button combinations, then mucked up by pressing the volume down button too many times whilst trying to select the factory reset option. The annoying thing will not allow you to move up the options again. So read the screen carefully before moving down through the options.

Hurray, I have go my tablet back!

Solution 1: Try this. Turn it on then as soon as the cube starts turning hold the volume button down you then should enter " Safe-Mode " I just learnt this 5 minutes ago. I got no manual with mine I bought 2nd hand. Might work might not its up to you good luck.
